Real Wedding: Katie + Chris - Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club, Virginia Beach, VA

We love this Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club Wedding!  The bride, Katie Mearns Parker  found us through "I Do!" a magazine published by our friend Michelle Kilgore at Weddings by Michelle.  Katie came to us with swatches in hand and an idea about a garden wedding with nautical touches.

I am so grateful that Echard Wheeler was there to capture the details!

We learned from the swatches that our bride liked an eclectic look which was mirrored in the bridesmaids' dresses.

We  created bouquets to complement each style of dress that the bride chose.  We found gathered linens from La Tavola Linen and added arrangements in mercury glass.  The custom paper suite was designed by the bride!

Adirondack chairs with nautical flag monogram

On the backs of the adirondack chairs are custom nautical flags representing the couple's monogram.  There would lots of details and they were all pulled together by Michelle and a fabulous vendor team.

We are thrilled to see this wedding featured on The Bride's Cafe!
